Background & Theme

Welcome to the 3rd Social and Humanities Research Symposium (SoRes 2020). SoRes is an international conference that will take place in Bandung, Indonesia, on 23rd & 24th November 2020. It is hosted by Institute of Research and Community Service (LPPM Universitas Islam Bandung, Unisba). As the theme of this year’s conference is “Islam, Media and Education in the Digital Era”, this conference aims (1) to bring together scientists, practitioners, students, researchers, and civil society organization representatives in the social and humanities symposium; (2) to share and discuss theoretical and practical knowledge on innovation in social and humanities.

Conference Scope

The conference welcomes papers that explore but not limited to the theme. The range of the topics covered by SoRes 2020 includes:

  • – Innovative Education in the Digital Era
  • – New Media: Impacts, Benefits, and Barriers
  • – Islamic Education
  • – Media, Journalism, and Information
  • – Human Wellbeing in Islam
  • – Marketing and Fintech in Terms of Islamic Perspective
  • – Economic Welfare in Terms of Islamic Perspective
  • – Law and Ethics in Terms of Islamic Perspective

Call for Abstracts and Paper Submission

  • Authors are requested to submit an abstract to the Organizing Committee by 29 October 2020. The abstract must contain the following section: introduction, aim of the study, method, results, conclusion, and keywords. The abstract must have no longer than 200 words.

[IMPORTANT] To submit an abstract, authors must register first (click here). Then they can submit their abstracts by logging in to this site (menu “Submission System” then “Login”). The submitted abstracts will be selected for presentation. The manuscripts (full papers) should be submitted only after the abstracts are accepted.

*all accepted paper will be published in international indexed proceeding and proceeding with ISBN
